Information on Indian Knowledge Systems of town planning is there in texts that have been written in Sanskrit, a language modern day architects and planners are not usually familiar with. Even while referring to translations, it becomes important to be aware of different Sanskrit terminologies and the context in which they are used in the text. Some of these are technical, some are non-technical but hard to understand which can create hindrance while learning the texts & thus demotivate a reader. To bridge the gap between curiosity, such challenging words and having fun while learning, CIKS-TP has created crossword puzzles as aid in learning about these town planning aspects in a fun way. Made majorly using terminologies from the text of Samarangana Sutradhara, these interactive puzzles can be helpful & interesting for everyone regardless of their level of expertise.
